    Hello,

I am wondering if the individual terms and conditions defined in a contract can be called “points” as in “the following points in this contract have been amended”.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Edinbury,

Yes, this is an accepted use of the word “points.” Point can used in such a way, meaning “item” or “detail.” Using this meaning of the word is very common. This is not to be confused with a similar use of point, meaning the main idea of something (as in, “The point I am trying to make is…”).

If you have any other questions, just let me know!
